What is the QUEENS CUP?
The Queens Cup 2020 is the Women for Success Fall Fundraiser where Teams of 5 will compete in weekly head to head virtual challenges to become crowned our inaugural Queens Cup Champions and be the first winners of the Golden Queen Coffee Cup. Throughout the competition, participants will be receiving training on five aspects that every professional and entrepreneur needs to be successful from leaders in their fields while implementing the lessons in fun and engaging ways. Both teams and spectators will have the chance to participate in the fun with interactive games including social media scavenger hunts, live stream trivia, and more! All with the goal of raising money for our 2021 programs, including a Pitch Competition, free educational programming, and grants for women-owned small businesses. Participants will be networking and building relationships with other highly motivated professionals expanding your network while leveling-up your business AND raising money for charity. It’s a Win-Win-Win!

QUEENS CUP 2020: IMPORTANT DATES AND DEADLINES
September 15, 2020 – Registration Opens for Teams of 5 to compete in the inaugural Queens Cup 2020!
October 23, 2020 – Registration Closes! Team Captains will receive packages for their Team before the competition begins November 11! Packages include welcome packets, Team gear, and any competition items necessary to complete tasks and missions.
November 11, 2020 – Welcome and Competition 1! All Teams designate one (1) Team Member from their group to compete in the virtual challenge on Zoom each week. The Competition will be streamed LIVE on Facebook for spectators and non-competing Team Members to watch and join in on the fun. (Each Team Member can only compete once in the five weeks leading up to the Finals).
Week One Challenge Theme: Branding Your Business
November 18, 2020 – Competition 2! All Teams designate one (1) Team Member from their group to compete in the virtual challenge on Zoom each week. The Competition will be streamed LIVE on Facebook for spectators and non-competing Team Members to watch and join in on the fun. (Each Team Member can only compete once in the five weeks leading up to the Finals).
Week Two Challenge Theme: Building Confidence
November 25, 2020 – Competition 3! All Teams designate one (1) Team Member from their group to compete in the virtual challenge on Zoom each week. The Competition will be streamed LIVE on Facebook for spectators and non-competing Team Members to watch and join in on the fun. (Each Team Member can only compete once in the five weeks leading up to the Finals).
Week Three Challenge Theme: Reading the Room
December 2, 2020 – Competition 4! All Teams designate one (1) Team Member from their group to compete in the virtual challenge on Zoom each week. The Competition will be streamed LIVE on Facebook for spectators and non-competing Team Members to watch and join in on the fun. (Each Team Member can only compete once in the five weeks leading up to the Finals).
Week Four Challenge Theme: Pitching and the Art of Persuasion
December 9, 2020 – Competition 5! All Teams designate one (1) Team Member from their group to compete in the virtual challenge on Zoom each week. The Competition will be streamed LIVE on Facebook for spectators and non-competing Team Members to watch and join in on the fun. (Each Team Member can only compete once in the five weeks leading up to the Finals). The Teams with the Top 2 Overall Scores will compete in the FINALS!
Week Five Challenge Theme: Cultivating Community
December 16, 2020 – QUEENS CUP FINALS! Team vs. Team Challenge AND Award Ceremony. In championship Finals, both teams will compete in a task and work together to beat their challenger. Which Team will become our first Queens Cup Winner and take home the Golden Queen Coffee Cup?! The winners will walk away with the title and the Queens Cup, be featured on our WFS Social Media and Website, AND have a one-to-one meeting with any WFS Committee Member of their choosing!
Finals Challenge Theme: Know Your Audience
PARTICIPANT ONLY ZOOM EVENTS AND NETWORKING!
Each Sunday starting November 1, Team Members can join a participant only Zoom party where we will network with each other, learn a new skill to level-up your business, discuss the upcoming week’s challenge and rules, AND give Teams extra credit for each member that joins and stays until the end of the meeting. Chances to win prizes as well AND earn extra credit from surprise assignments!
